There are many ways to help your RZR XP1000 Highlifter's ride through spring changes. But, you many not have to install a full tilt Dual spring system to get the improvement you like, not to mention the costs. So, we have laid out some simple spring kits that if done in order, will allow you to make improvements in the most meaningful way as well as build up to a full Dual spring kit if you like. Our standard Stage 1-4 spring kits do not apply to the Highlifter due to different spring lengths and rates so read below to be sure of the best kit for you. All of our spring kits will not sacrifice any ride height. As a matter of fact they are very adjustable and can be set much taller than stock if you like.
The level one kit would normally include cross over rings for the front shocks but on the Highlifter the upper spring is too short to run them. There is little to no adjustability so we do not offer a Level 1 kit for the Highlifter

Our Level 2 spring kit includes 2 rear “Silent” cross over rings and two rear upper springs. The “silent” cross over rings are not available for use with the stock upper front springs as discussed in Stage 1, but the new upper, rear coil springs and two rear “silent” cross over rings really step things up. Our full length springs replace the factory, coil bound springs and give you the room to run our “silent” cross over rings creating a Dual Rate spring system in the rear as well. Now you can run on the softer, combined spring rate in the rear, longer through the compression stroke before the stiffer lower spring comes in. This is a much more soft and plush ride but it also lets you control when the heavier lower spring comes in to help with the bigger hits and bottoming out. It also settles the back down further limiting the rear kicking in the whoops and letting the RZR fly more level when jumping. This is a much more beneficial system to run than the old 4/2 swap. Before spring kits were available for the XP, people were running a four seat upper spring on the front of their two seater and placing the old front upper spring on the rear of the car. This did help but just a little. Plus the four seat spring is too stiff for a two seater and can ruin the ride quality in the front.

The reason we don't offer level 3 spring kit for the XP 1000 Highlifter is that there is no way to run a cross over ring with the factory upper springs. In addition, the front lower factory spring is too tall to run a long enough upper spring to take advantage of a cross over ring dual rate system. For this reason we have developed a Level 3+ spring kit. It includes the rear, upper springs and cross over rings that come in the Level 2 spring kit and also includes the upper springs we would like to run if a standard level 3 kit were possible but with the addition of the front lower spring needed to run a functional upper spring. This gives you the plush ride in the front without sacrificing any ride height. You could consider this the mid point between a Level 3 and 4 kit. This kit gets rid of the rear bucking and the stiffness in the small chop and chatter. For those of you that don't carry a ton of extra rear weight or those who are trail riders most of the time and want the rear as plush as possible, this is the kit for you.

Finally our Level 4 spring kit. The ultimate in suspension improvement through springs. It includes everything in the previous 3 kits plus 2 more race springs to replace the factory lower rear springs. This completes the full Dual Rate spring kit. The LOWER springs we supply are a heavier rate than the factory springs which helps you even more by eliminating bottoming, body roll and front dive. They allow you to run the cross over rings higher on the shock which lets you feel the softer combined spring rate longer for a more plush ride. Since the lower springs only come into play in the biggest hits you can run harder and faster than you ever could have before without bottoming out. This is the ultimate in smooth ride while still sacrificing nothing in the big hits.
