This spring kit gives a substantial improvement in ride quality while improving handling as well at G-out resistance. We've found the perfect combination of spring length to rate ratio and are very happy with our results. This kit is for all four corners of the machine. After a lot of testing, it was determined there is no need for a dual-rate spring setup on the front of a 50" RZR. We decided to stay with the proven single rate spring setup we've been using for years on the fronts. The rear however has found large improvements by switching to a dual-rate combination.
This kit uses 2.5" ID springs and correct sized spacers for the Fox Podium shocks on this specific model. We provide a short spring, a long spring and a delrin spacer for each rear shock along with 2.25" to 2.5" ID adapter rings for the supplied springs. The secret is in our short springs. We've found a perfect rate which allows us to custom tailor our long springs, (which determines the final rate of the suspension) to each individuals needs.
We have narrowed it down to two options; Standard and Heavy Duty. The Standard set is a perfect improvement over stock for recreational drivers without very much extra weight added to the vehicle. The Heavy Duty rate is perfect for the aggressive driver, intermediate racer or for a vehicle with some extra weight in accessories or passengers. Of course because we can make all the adjustments with one spring per shock we are able to sell individual long springs to people looking to "tune" there springs sets in to their specific liking. We list the two standard packages which will cover about 90% of all users.
These springs are replacements for the OEM springs on the OEM Fox Podium X 2.0 shocks found exclusivelyon the 2016 RZR 900 Trail Fox Edition.
NOTE: This kit WILL NOT fit the standard shocks found on any other model RZR 900 Trail or XC. This kit is specific to the FOX Edition.
NOTE: This kit WILL fit an aftermarket 2.0" shock. If you have aftermarket shocks and want our spring kit, this is the one for you. In most cases the adapter rings will not be needed. This kit will work in the recommended rates for ALL RZR 570, 800 and 2015+ 900 50" and 55" models using AFTERMARKET shocks.
